Yes, a quick (re)perusal of the docs implies this. I thought I could get
around that since I am not using the "field-connected" addressing scheme
(i.e., IOMOPT=1) on the AINs and such. But I'll try putting it in another
compound. One would think this would be flagged as an error.....

Corey,
Correct me if I am wrong, but my understanding is that only one ABSCAN
block is allowed per compound, and it has to be the first
block. At least, that's the rule we've always followed.
