My question is if is required to pay any charge for License Upgrade from
I/A Series V6.3, Winnt to I/A Series V7.X, Win XP, or if is only
necessary to buy the Installation Software.
P/N: K0200WK- Windows XP Media 7 ..
P/N: K0200RL-System Definition
P/N: P0922KD-FoxView/FoxDraw V8.0.2

Well, you will certainly need to replace the PC software when the
hardware is upgraded past NT supported systems. This may be
your largest expence.

The XP version requires an upgrade to version 7 IA software.

Release notes seem to indicate that the Micro IA will work in Ver 7
systems, and I didnt see anything about it requiring new bits
and pieces.

Depending on the current software level it may also be possible to
change out the AW and WP at different times, if the cost needs to be
spread out. For this you would need a software version new enough
to coexist with Ver 7.

There are some requirements for minimum revision levels of certain
hardware to support one or another level of software. There also
may be EPROM updates required to some types of FBMs, so it really
would be a good idea to go thru all the hardware pieces and with
Foxboro docs (like release notes) as a guide, see what will work
with the Version 7 (or newer) software and what you would have to
change.
