Hi Budana,
We have a flotation system setup with three PIDA controllers using a
FeedForward signal. The output of the 1st rougher is connected to the bias
of the 2nd rougher. The output of the 2nd rougher is connected to the bias
of the scavenger. This helped us control the interaction between the cell
levels, and responds well to changing flow rates.
We had a FBTUNE setup for awhile, but typically it caused the controllers
to become very sluggish, and we quit experimenting with them.
All of our cells are initially tuned with the following:
PBAND 50
INT 0.5
DERIV 0
Hand tuning starts from these values.
