Re: [foxboro] PI question about FXBAIS

I don't think you can stop/start individual lists. But I'm not an
expert...so you might want to check with OSI support. What you can do is
create multiple fxbais interfaces, this way you only have to stop one
interface. But once you stop the foxapi the connection with the PI
server is lost anyway, so....
We try to keep the lists small enough, this took care of the comm
problems when editing large lists, but that was not the origin of your
comm problem I guess.

OK, all is right with the world again. Normally, when one or more PI
lists
stop updating, I would stop and start the PI interface and hope that
fixed
it. However, I have never touched FoxAPI before. So, I stopped &
started
both PI and FoxAPI ... and everything came back. All lists are updating
and my users are happy once more.

Is there a way to start & stop individual lists? I don't like stopping
the
interface for just a couple of non-updating points, because it breaks
the
continuity of ALL points.
