When you say P82 I assume you mean the next generation Sparc
workstations after the P81(s) Sun-Blade-2000/Sun-Blade-1500.

If that is your question the Ultra-25/Ultra-45 Sparc workstations
Have a minimum Solaris OS requirement for Solaris 10 01/06 release.
They can not be installed with Solaris 8. The new Sparc workstations
Include PCI-E (Express) technology not supported in Solaris 8.
