Re: [foxboro] OPC

One of installations I was involved with used Foxboro OPC I/O Gate residing in
an AW70 w/control
The main DCS runs on ver6.4 NT, so I do not know if it is applicable for you
The OPC was for purpose of getting and sending points to OPC server (APACS) at
the IPS/FGS system
Most of the points are input to DCS some 700-800 points and the output from DCS
is some 20 points
So far the system is running okay with that load
Hope this can give you further idea
Rgds,
