Re: [foxboro] OFHA SOFT on AW70

When you say OFHA I assume you are refering to the provided software on your
Solaris machines.
Although this version of OFHA was fine at the time, there were some serious
limitations with that particular version which have been addressed by a more
recent version named OFHA 2 (duh). Amongst these are the high (undesired)
traffic on the nodebus, and filename limit of 14 characters (resulting from
the MicroRFS filesystem used.)

The new OFHA 2 version has these features:
-Can use the secondary Ethernet connection (node bus transport is still
available but not reccommended)
-Can maintain more than 1 backup archive (up to 7 in fact)
-Does not have the limitation of 14 character file names
-Can make use of the backup configuration files from OFHA 1 if you already
have those.

and there are more...

BUT there are two little issues that you may find a disturbing:

It does not support Windows systems
It is no longer available free of charge! (Invensys Germany can provide
pricing)
