Some alternatives include:
1) You can use the apitst tool to get messages - with the an_get_msgs
function test.  This is OK if you only need to find one message and
don't care how long it takes you.
I believe option 200 and then 11 will allow you to get any range of oaj
messages sent to a file based on some prompts you enter.
Also there is a super secret program floating around built by a guru
called MsgDisp which allows some quick searching. ;) Thanks Ricardo
