If it is really important to have a clock, then you could try the unix clock in 
/usr/openwin/bin and Fritz, you could make it fill the whole CRT if you wish. 
It can be digital or analog with a sweep second hand.  Gotta keep those 
operators happy. Just remember that it takes resources.
 
I'm sure Billy Gates stuck something similar into Windoze but I have not 
checked.

I don't think you can change the time format on the display, but you
could build a graphic with the seconds shown by using a CALC block's TIM
command and some math to get HH, MM, SS.
