"Disabled" is inhibited when INHOPT=1 or 3 (i.e., alarm detection/flag
generation is also disabled). Exactly the opposite of the Honeywell I
used to work on. Foxboro's docs are not clear on this; I found it by
accident.
As you said about PSR: the screenshots in the docs do not match my screen.
The Inhibited/Disabled pick that is in the screenshot is not present on
my 6.5.3 system, or vive versa. Can't remember exactly which.

[foxboro] More Process Summary Reporter Quirks
We noticed yet another quirk today in the PSR in that the documentation
(the latest I can find is B0193DG REV. E, fated June 30, 1999!) mentions
nothing about "Alarms Disabled ", which show up on our PSR screen right
under "Alarms Inhibited", but not on the screen print in the
documentation. And reports using just the "Alarms Inhibited" choice do
not pick up all of the inhibited CIN blocks, but they apparently pick up
some newly built ones - very odd. But also selecting "Alarms Disabled"
does cause it to pick up all inhibited CIN blocks. As far as I know,
Foxboro only uses the term Inhibited alarm, not disabled alarm. Does
anyone know what is going on here?
Thanks,
Virgil
