Re: [foxboro] Modbus gateway question

Ken,

With the existing Modbus gateway, convert the signal from RS232 to 422/485
at the gateway with a converter then hook up to RS422/485 port on Texas PLC
and do multi drop configuration to attach more PLCs. You may have to go for
the slower scan rate but it depends on I/Os being scanned.

Subject: [foxboro] Modbus gateway question

I currently have a modbus gateway that is connected to a Texas Instruments
PLC, via peer to peer.
Is it possible to add an additional peer to peer connection on the second
port?
If I upgrade to an Integrator 30 , would two peer to peer connections be
possible?

thanks,
