Re: [foxboro] Modbus Slave

Hi Guy's,

I have an MG30 talking to a fire and Gas system that is chronically =
overloaded . I would like to investigate using a FBM224 to replace the =
gateway. does anyone know if this is feasible and if so what version of =
software do I need to be at.

Thanks
Ron Shuard

We did this once to get two Honeywell systems to talk to each other. We =

used a box called an Omnii-Comm, which can be a master/slave, in several =

protocols, on up to 4 ports.

[foxboro] Modbus Slave

I was wondering if there is a way to make a Modbus connection to Foxboro
where Foxboro is the slave device? Reading through the FBM224
documentation, it says that the gateway has to be the master. We want
to be able to talk to a GE Harris D20 RTU and I am being told that they
will only do it with the RTU as master. Anyone have a viable solution?
Thanks,
