Re: [foxboro] Missing System Definition Disk

David,
Well..... you did say it was a test node!

I often ran into that same situation and by reading the IIF files I =
would sketch the node and then rebuild the SysDef. Then I would set all =
to Day1 and then add my new stuff (your CP40) and do a Day1 =
installation. Likely a couple hours work but there is no set procedure =
to copy / edit 45 to 50 files to make this happen without doing the =
software installation on the AW.

Then I would Reconcile and extract the System Definition to a floppy =
that can be dd 'd onto your AW (in case the system disappears again)

Objet=A0: [foxboro] Missing System Definition Disk

Hello All,

This is probably real easy, but I try not to do work with sysdef=20
unless I absolutely have to. I guess I have to.

I need to add a CP to an existing test node (we are installing a CP40=20
to a nodebus hosted by an AW51B, we are sooo current) . I cannot=20
find the existing system definition disk anywhere. I do have the=20
commit disk, and the reconcile disk, and tried to import the commit=20
disk into SysDef, but the results were pretty much a complete=20
failure. Shocking, I know. Is there an easy way to either, get the=20
system definition information from the things I have, or add a CP40=20
without having to re-generate the entire sysdef.

Thanks,
David
