Re: [foxboro] Marker Movement

Have you considered using XY plots?

They work in both directions on a grid using markers. They will also leave
a trail (if desired) and have some controls like clear etc. You can overlay
them on a polygon to create the appearance of shaded areas of the plot.

Subject: [foxboro] Marker Movement

I have a question about marker movement. I haven't had a problem until I
tried to get a marker to move with both row location < and col location <(2
separate inputs). What we are trying to do is get a marker to plot within a
grid on the display. When I configure the row location and then the col
location, the column works perfectly but the row location is distorted. If
I reverse the configuration order and do the Column then the row, then the
row works correctly and column is distorted.

The question is how do you get a marker to move accurately in both
directions with the two separate inputs. Where can I go and find the
information explaining how/why this is done. The information I have briefly
explains marker movement, but I have not found anything explaining this or
I just don't understand what I have read.

I am using Foxboro I/A legacy DM at version 4.3 on AP51B's, WP30's,
WP51B's.

Thanks for the help in advance
