We have seen this same behavior on a mixed 6.5 7.1 system. When the
AW, which hosts one of 2 hsitorians is down (say fo backup), calling
up a trend on any workstations will freeze that DM. It's DM specific
as, on dual headed machines the other DM continues to work. We originally
thought this was because the historian was down, but putting the CSA
quick fix in solved our problem. The AW is version 7.1, and everyhting
else (AP and WP's) are 6.5
It certainly gets my attention when the operator worksations start
freezing. Most of our overlays, and many of our grapjics have trends
on them. Not somethign I'd like to repeat on a live process!
