Mine, too (we use Lotus Notes).  I think it has to do with getting your 
mail client to use the Reply-To: field in the header, rather than the 
From: field.

Whenever I reply to a message from the list, the "To..." field is
automatically populated with foxboro@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx (using MS Outlook
and exchange server). Perhaps it's some setting in your local
server/account.

I find myself replying to an indivdual, rather thna the list, unless I
remeber to CC the list.
