A quick dirty solution to your problem would be to edit your ".profile"
script and replace this line:

/usr/fox/wp/bin/blink_task -sig -r -hb 5 &

with this line:

/usr/fox/wp/bin/blink_task -f &

        Your Window Manager is using up too many colors in the palette.
        Switch to a different one (I like IceWM: http://www.icewm.org/ ).
        I've had this same error before and that fixed it.
