"HP IPAQ" is not a sufficient description for a suitable device. Experience shows that the exact model HP IPAQ makes a difference as to whether it will work. The configurator may load and run, but the IR connection may not work - the configurator seems to be expecting very particular IR hardware .. for example, my old HP Ipaq HX4700 would run the configurator, but would not connect to the IR port on the destination device. From memory, the only HP Ipaq that was guaranteed to work was a model 2210?
