AIM*Datalink is the base replacement for the older Data for Windows though
AIM*Inform has some of the functionality that Data for Windows had.

        AIM*Datalink works with the legacy historian. It is a fantastic tool
to get
        any information you want.
        all you need is one line of code for an sql querry. also available
is a
        sample demo on the installation disk.
        ODBC is standard.
