Re: [foxboro] LADDER simulation

Jean-Christophe,

Get in line to ask if the Integrator boxes could run the ladder logic of
PLB blocks, but don't hold your breath.

The SIMOPT parameter does roughly what the IOMOPT parameter does for other
blocks. It disconnects the parameters that normally read field inputs from
the field, allowing you to write a simulated value to those inputs. Of
course this has limited functionality if you can't execute the ladder. I
look at it like this: When the ability to emulate the ladder logic shows
up, the parameters will be there to support it.
