Re: [foxboro] Java on AW51 version 6.x??



I have one more doubt about Java on FoxBoro machines.
We have the offsite applications running on AW51E machines.
But those are older versions using C/C++ and without java.
We are thinking of upgrading the applications to latest version i.e. wi=
th
Java & Oracle.

The client WP machines are with mixed styles few C & few D.
We got the message as WP of C style doesn't support Java.
So it is impossible for us to upgrade all the WP's hardware.

Is it true ?
If not, what are the patches required to install ?
Where are those available ?
Which version of Java support WP style C ?

Offsite software from Baarn Holland. =A0The Offsite software is written=

Java. =A0For Solaris 2.5.1 we install java 1.2.2_05a. =A0I could not sa=
y that
Java would be sanctioned if installed for other applications outside of=

Offsite software.
