Re: [foxboro] Intermittent communication failure?

I'll send you some information under separate cover, but there is a flaw in
devices that were manufactured between certain dates that sounds like your
problem.

Subject: [foxboro] Intermittent communication failure?

We're having intermittent communication failure between our I/A system
and Foxboro IDP-10 differential pressure transmitters. This results
in bad data, and system alarm for device failure, but the device
always recovers. The solution pursued to date has been to replace the
transmitter, this cures the problem in the field, but bench tests
afterward show the device to be good. We're using foxcomm protocol,
and an FBM-243 smart I/O card. Does anyone have any thoughts?
