The best way to optimize Int 30 traffic is to pack the bits on the AB side
into integers and pass that through the gateway. Read the integers on the
Foxboro side and address individual bits in the integers for the controls and
displays. Remember to put all of the integers you generate in the PLC in
contiguous memory locations in the plc to avoid multiple reads from the
integrator. You should be able to get a great many digitals this way with
minimal
load on the serial link
