You could use an OTS Div2 PC with Hummingbird and eliminate all questions of
special drivers and hardware.

Subject: [foxboro] Installing IA series V8.X on Zone 2 workstation

Dear all knowing list,

We are in the midst of finalizing hardware for zone 2 workstation.

Since Foxboro don't have zone 2 workstation, we are certainly going to choose
from third party,

most probably STAHL MT-436 Open HMI workstation.

So:-

1) what if i install I/A Series V8.X on normal PC. what is the
implication

2) Does the networking (MESH network) will work properly

3) Do we need customized Ethernet driver. If so, what are the qualified
fiber NIC endorsed for v.8.x

Thank you in advance.
