in particular, 13. Utility Reference, foxtst will allow you to "exercise
and inspect" virtually all API routines.
and Appendix H - Configuration File parameters, see maxds for maximum
number of datasets, my read shows 1000 as the max, and 100 is the
default.

BTW, I would guess that when you see the error, the number of open lists
is 100.

Hi Tim,

I think you're spot on, from what I've heard from one of the
Batchexperts at foxmass. I believe the max nr of datasets can be 3000,
(currently it's set at 100) any idea how I can find out how many
datasets are in use? I've used foxspy, but I can't seem to find the
number of datasets....
