Re: [foxboro] IA series Product Reparability

The information we've received on FBM 100s is that they will enter
"mature" phase in 2005, and "lifetime" in 2015. The upshot is that
availability of FBMs for new installations is not promised after May 2005,
but that repair/replacement would not be a problem until the "lifetime"
phase at least.
There are documents on the CSC web site that explain these terms and give
the timetables.

I was curious if anybody knows of a list of IA series hardware that is
no longer repairable by Foxboro. I have searched the CSC site with no
luck. I found one document from May of this year but I do not think
everything is on there. I ask this because I have recently sent an FBM
10 and an FBM 04 to Foxboro and I was told that the FBM's were too old
to be updated or repaired. Is anyone else having this kind of trouble
from Foxboro? Any input would be appreciated.
