Especially with older modules, there may have been design or component =
updates. Some revisions are forced by software changes, component =
availability or safety related issues. Foxboro has, for a long time, =
determined the "minimum revision level" to which they will repair and =
return a module based on these revision factors. If it's 'too old', it's =
probably for a significant reason. You have three options, exchange for =
a newer revision, have a third party depot facility repair and system =
test or buy off the used market.
