Replacing the NVRAM is rather simple. There are other issues. Some NVRAMs come
with default programming. Some come blank and must be programmed. If you use
licensed software, you may need to program the machine ID into the new program
to avoid re-licensing issues. If you use an external hard disk, you will need
to create an alias for the disk and store it on the NVRAM. Some companies can
provide a pre-programmed NVRAM according your specifications. Some companies
can refurbish the workstations. Message me off-line for more information.
