Are the external Raid units from Foxboro ? If so, then they definitely do not use Solaris Online DiskSuite product. Each RAID vendor does it differently but most require the use of a serial port cable to talk to command central of the RAID box. Is there a spare port on your AW-51 ? You may be able to use a HyperTerm program thru /dev/ttyb If not being used by GCIO or local printer. wrb > > >On Wed, Aug 28, 2002 at 11:22:37AM -0400, wcricker wrote: > > > > Executables are in : /usr/opt/SUNWmd/sbin/ > > > > Man pages at : /usr/opt/SUNWmd/man > > eg.: > > man -M /usr/opt/SUNWmd/man metadb > >re you certain this works for the external hardware RAID units?
