Waleed K. Al-Khudhair,
To generate an alarm at a WP, you have to configure a block with:
1) One of the alarming options turned on (ie, HLOP = 1)
2) A group that includes the WP is selected for the configured alarm (ie,
HLGP = 1, 2 or 3 and the WP's letterbug is included in the compound's
devices for the selected group, or HLGP = 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8, and the WP's
letterbug is included in the Station's devices for the selected group).
3) An alarm priority is selected that is configured to have the horns sound,
often 1 or 2 (ie, HLPR = 1). Configuration for which alarm priority(s)
cause sound the alarm horn is done in the file /usr/fox/alarms/horn.cfg on
each WP.
The pan and tab files are for configuring the way the annunciator keyboards
function -- which LEDs are lit by which alarms, and which graphics are
called up by which key presses.
Please let me know if this answer is helpful. Also, let me know if you
would like some information on our System Configuration class which covers
these areas.

Kevin FitzGerrell
