Dirk,
Sometimes when editing you mess up with comment brackets or forget a
";" or accidently enter an ":" instead and then the compiler gets
sometimes screwed up and strange things happen.
Doublecheck carefully with comment brackets and semikolons, try to
delete suspicious code in test copies of the sequence and see if you
still have errors. Check, if you properly closed subroutine or
exception declarations.
Let someone else check your code as you may not see the woods because
of all the trees (german saying) ;-)
