Re: [foxboro] HLBL problem

I have had similar situations and all but one were fixed rechecking my
code.  (They were mistakes that I did not realize I had made.)  Check to
see that the closing end of a comment did not get deleted by mistake,
especially if your edits were made in vi.  A common mistake for me is
that Ctrl-D will scroll me down half a page--Shift-D will delete from
the cursor to the end of the line.  I have wiped out comment closes,
closing parenthesis, and closing quotation marks (yep, all of them at
one time or another) with this mistake.  I then get the error messages
you describe. It is a very easy--and almost invisible--error for me to
make if I "fat finger" the Control button with the knuckle of my left
pinky finger.  It tends to do both--delete and move me down a half page.

The one time the error was not caused by me, it was because I was
editing some code (not written by me) that was so gynormously large that
it would not re-compile.  It gave me similar error messages.  This is
not likely to be your problem.  The print out of the HLBL code I edited
was 32 pages long.
