I'll share the answer with you about the channel isolated HART card.
Matt DeAthos reminded me that a galvanically channel isolated HART
input FBM is on the way and he has mentioned this in two
presentations that I attended. Whatever Matt, whatever.
"We are delivering a galvanically-isolated (aka channel -isolated) HART
input card as a part of the 100 series Migration program.", He says
Then I asked if this will be the legendary FBM666. It does
everything you need, but is fiendishly difficult to produce so it
will always be available in the next release and it steals your soul
in the process.
But, apparently not. It's just going to be a galvanically channel
isolated HART card.
Oh well.
David
