Terry,

In our case, we do have the smon_log enabled, but nothing gets logged,
though the DCI child is inhibited.  However, the system key goes from
solid green to flashing green quite frequently and when you drill down
from the ZCP270 to find what has the star next to it, it is actually the
inhibited DCI child.  Sometimes it stops flashing on its own, while
other times it continues to flash for hours until you ACK it.

Have you enabled the smon_log in /opt/fox/sysmgm/sysmon of the host of
the system monitor? It should record the specific error from the HART
device.
