List,
Fixed in V6.4
1/5/01 - Response from SD&E (GS):
The values for GR7 and GR8 are overwritten due to a =
negative index into an array immediately following these =
variables in the block record. =
In order for this negative indexing to occur, the =
following items must be configured from the STATION =
BLOCK DISPLAY. The button in the DATA COLLECTION =
section of the display (upper left ) must be configured =
to ACTIVE. In the Control Loading Overlay, the LODSYN =
button must be set to ACTIVE and the LODPHS parameter to =
a value greater than 60.
This problem may be avoided by never configuring DATA =
COLLECTION to ACTIVE.
This will be corrected in I/A Version 6.4.
This CAR is now closed.
Regards,
Scott

Corey,
Correction in 6.4 sounds about right.
While the customer in the CAR may have had some fairly specific
circumstances, this was a problem I remember seeing frequently at a
number of sites - I believe it was not that uncommon.
