According to PSS 21H-4R8 B4 the GCIO link is still serial.

Can anyone tell me if the link between the serial port on a "G" box, and
it's GCIO is RS-232C?
We are plaining on installing some "G" boxes in an equipment room, and
using a KVM extender to bring the keyboard, mouse, and monitor out inot the
operational area.
