Re: [foxboro] "G" boxes as WP's ?

I should further state that I have P81's running as WP's c/w GCIO/Ann.KB's
on a mixed v6.x/v7.x system since Dec. without any issues.

The only thing weird you need to do is choose "WP51F" in System Definition
but other than that there is nothing different to do. The box gets committed
and loads up just fine as a WP51 with all the proper software.

Stan:

You are in control of what you make the P79 or P81 hardware into.

You can make it a "WP" or "AW" or "AP" depending on how you configure your
S20A software license:

p/n S20A is the licence for P79,P80,P81 as stated in the description on
BuyAutomation.com :

VERSION: For I/A Series V7x w/P79,P80,P81 Processors

For any workstation there are two(2) steps:

1) Pick the v7.x hardware box (P79, P80 or P81)
2) Pick the v7.x software (S20A)

I hope this clears things up.
