Dear David,
I think, you can not do a protection class on the library object, but you
can do the same object by yourself.
Find the attached example same as the rampvalue.

Subject: [foxboro] Foxview Protection class question.
Hello all,
I hope there are a few folks out there this short Thanksgiving week.
I have just run across some odd behavior in Foxview relating to the
protection class.
I have a text entry box copied from the object->link from library->Fox
Buttons->rampvalue. I would like to put a protection class on this item,
but since it does not have an action associated with it, it won't take a
protection class. Has anyone else run into this before and if so, what
would be a good work around.
Thanks,
David
