Re: [foxboro] Foxview Environment Problem

You have a bad entry in one of the files associated with that env.
When you call up an environment in Foxview..it relies on the contents of
that env file itself...also a .dbr, mbr, and acl file of the the same name.
If you have hand edited any of these files for whatever reason...there is
probably a improper edit in one of theses files.
Remember ..these files can reside in /opt/fox/env....or /opt/customer/env..
Foxview searches /opt/customer/env for env, mbr, dbr etc entries first then
moves to the /opt/fox/env which is the default.

Subject: [foxboro] Foxview Environment Problem

Hi Folks!

I have got a funny problem. On one of our WP51B, I have got these
following
environments defined:

Initial
Operator
Process_Engr
Process_Mgr
Inst_Mgr

Now if I change the environment from Initial to Process_Mgr / Engr, the
environment changes momentarily and then in the next instance Foxview
gets
terminated. The things work fine if I go via Initial to Inst_Mgr and
then
to Process_Mgr. Why ???

Thanks & Regards
