Re: [foxboro] FoxView Auto Logoff of User Environment using XP Workstations

I deposited a script to do something like this on Cassandra some time ago
(it's clled "kill_idle_dm" or something). I haven't tried it on Windows,
but it is a ksh script and uses standard I/A tools (pref,...) to do its
job.

Of course, cows deposit chips in the pasture, too, so your mileage may
vary.

Thanks Ken,

I am aware of this program and think it only works on UNIX since it uses a
compiled program for Solaris. I have tried it on a UNIX box and it would
do
what I want if it only worked on XP as well.

Subject: [foxboro] FoxView Auto Logoff of User Environment using XP
Workstations

Has anyone written a utility that will automatically log off a user from
an environment if it is idle for a period of time for FoxView on XP? I
have a couple of XP stations in areas were I need to have the box log
off automatically to the Initial environment if there is no activity for
awhile.
We are running version 7.1.1.

Thanks,
