Regarding transfer from fox CAE if you have a windows station with control you can load your database file to ICC then use ICC DRIVER TASK to change to a text file transfer it to unix edit it and load it back ok here is how on windows station /opt/fox/ciocfg/api/ sh iccdrvr.tsk -d <fname> OPEN CPNAME ALL ROOT GET *:* ALL CLOSE EXIT Now you should have a filename with name you have choosen then copy it to a diskette and open it on the unix station. edit this file right at the top of it OPEN <CPNAME> ALL ROOT change ever NAME= to ADD through find and replace. add at the end of file CLOSE EXIT then go to /opt/fox/ciocfg/api/ iccdrvr.tsk -i fname this should create a load all on your CP provided no compounds have the same name or blocks are not supported by this CP. hope this works try it on your own risk best of luck Tarek _______________________________________________________________________ This mailing list is neither sponsored nor endorsed by Invensys Process Systems (formerly The Foxboro Company).
