Re: [foxboro] Font properties meaning

I'm no expert, but I can use Google.

A Unix font is named with the format:
-foundry-family-weight-slant-setwidth-addstyle-pixel-point-resx-resy-spacing
-width-charset-encoding. So your font name is parsed out this way:

-adobe the font foundry
-helvetica font family
-bold weight (normal, bold)
-r slant (r for roman, i for italic)
-normal width
- addstyle (?)
-12 pixel size
-120 size in points
-75 resolution x axis
-75 resolution y axis
-p spacing
-70 width
-iso8859 character set
-1 encoding (this combined with the previous gives you
iso8859-1 which is the standard Latin encoding)
