Re: [foxboro] Failed CP60

these alarms messages shouldn't affect your CP I think. We had/still ha=
ve
this type of messages regularly. I would expect to see a message referr=
ing
to a specific CP condition or in case of FT not working both A & B goin=
g
down.....

A CP gone single can be rebooted (or swapped) without affecting the oth=
er
CP online. At least your FT slave took over, we've had some instances w=
ere
the FT didn't work...Panic on the titanic.....

The CP 60's are not very reliable, (CP40 was much more reliable) we got=
 new
ones after1 year in warranty (seems the first revisions had some bugs i=
n
them) and since then we had to replace 1 or 2. We changed most of them =
for
ZCP270's, I've only got 1 pair left which I would like to swap as soon =
as I
get the budget.
Check the revision nr of the faulty CP, if it's an older revision you
probably still have the "bug" version

Yes, both of the red and green LED's are illuminated on the failed CP.
Looking at the alarm printout, here is what I see:=00
Single PIO Bus Access Error on B
Single PIO Bus Access Recovery on B
FCM B module failed
FCM B no longer failed=00
These have came in multiple times.=00
