Re: [foxboro] Failed CP60

I have come through this problem several times and replaced CP60 online. If red
LED is ON and green is OFF then your CP has a hardware failure. When a CP is
failed the shadow becomes primary and SMDH shows shadow as failed. You can
easily replace your failed shadow CP with a new spare CP60 online. The
following should be the procedure

1- Dis-engage your failed CP from nodebus by moving the elevator down.
2- Remove redundancy adapter from the front of the CP.
3- Remove the failed CP from mounting structure and Insert new CP60 with no
letterbug installed.
4- Connect redundancy adapter
5- Engage the new CP with nodebus by moving the elevator up.
6- Insert letterbug in the new shadow CP.
7- Reboot the new shadow CP using small reset button at the front of the CP

Do all these very attentively and do not do anything with the primary CP.
