Also there is a helpful hint on foxboro's website that allows you to enable 
logging of messages when something like this happens. You might want to check 
it out and set it up.

Subject: [foxboro] Failed CP60

I came in and found one of our primary CP60's failed.  The red LED is lit on 
the CP.  SMDH says FT State is Non-operational, EE Update State is not 
updating, Downloading state is not Downloading, Diag State is Not Active.  This 
is a first time experiencing a failed CP.  At present, plant conditions will 
not allow us to shutdown this CP.  Anyone have any suggestions to 
troubleshooting?
