Thanks for quick reply, but I am still confused about what has to be done to
allow one X-terminal to display DM graphics, and a different X-terminal to
show FV displays from same AW51.

Currently, I use rlogin with user ia to connect DM X-terminals, but don't I
need to connect to AW differently, if I want to access FV?

Foxview and DM can be used on the same X-terminal. There are some thing
extra that need to be done when you have Exceed 7 or higher:

Install two new FDB files
When you will be using FoxView, you may notice font problems. The problem
surfaces when you have the "Show host reply" function enabled in the Xstart
program. The fonts in FoxView do not scale correctly. This problem has been
addressed by Foxboro and Hummingbird and has resulted in the release of a
QuickFix  with number QF1001457. This QF supplies two Font database files to
be copied into the proper location to resolve the font problem. The fonts
concerned are 75dpi and 100dpi.

Delete the "latin"font.
This is done from the Xconfigurator fouind on eXceed.

The DM will work as always and Foxview will start working after this.

We have a AW51D running V6.3 with both DM and FV installed. Currently, there
are three X-terminals connected and displaying DM graphics, which is the
current default graphics environment on the AW51.

A new line is being installed, and we want to us FV graphics for this line,
and display them on another X-terminal connected to the same AW51. Current
X-terminals are using Exceeed 7.

Does anyone have experience with a similar setup? Any suggestions or
comments would be greatly appreciated.
