I think you can bitmap the IIN.LIN value to the MCOUTs. If so, you can 
eliminate the 1st MCIN. Of course if you're able to modify you graphics/control 
blocks, you can map them all to the IINs (if it works, of course)

Yes brad,
PACKIN solution is what you said.

for I and O registers  I used 2 IIN blocks, conected to a MCIN, then I mapped 
the bits using a pair of MCOUT blocks and finally rejoined them in the final 
MCIN.

So... 6 blocks to read 2 16 bit registers... thank god there are taglists... 
even if they are not that friendly user as they should

No, I'm sorry to say that .WM is not supported in CSP or DH+. Not having a 
system I can test it on, my "thought experiment" would lead me to try 2 PAKIN 
blocks, each reading consecutive 16-bit words with the /U2 option and PKIOPT=3 
to reverse the bits. Then connect those 2 PAKCIN's to II01 and II02 of a MCIN. 
The PAKCIN of the MCIN should be what your looking for. (My head hurts from 
trying to mentally work thru that.)

If you're trying to read I or O registers, try the same thing with IIN instead 
of PAKIN and connect the LIN's. (That may not work though, because I don't 
think 
/U2 works on I & O values.)

If none of that works, then brute force may be your only option ... reading 
32-bits with a PAKIN and mapping each bit in reverse order (1-16 into 16-1 and 
17-32 into 32-17) into a PAKOUT that is either configured to write to a "safe" 
register or is configured to a "dummy" ECB that is off-line. I think the values 
will still propogate, even though the block will show bad IO.

Brad,
That is what we need in all the AB FDSI drivers.  I saw that in the
EthernetIP manual you've referenced.  I don't see it documented for the CSP
or DH+ driver - can you confirm this is available in those?
