Re: [foxboro] FCP270 & PDA problem

"Would you believe Invensys is capable of supplying a CP on which the last
2
characters of the front label are SWAPPED!!?"

This IS a rhetorical question, right? :)

[foxboro] FCP270 & PDA problem

English is not my native language but I do believe I understand <RANT MODE
ON>

A word of caution!

The label on the Front of the FCP270 is the last part of the MAC address
which you have to enter on the PDA to be able to communicate with the CP
and
assign a letterbug, right ?

At least it worked liked that for CP's number 1 to 7 (out of 8) but number
8
did not respond and failed to communicate.

Would you believe Invensys is capable of supplying a CP on which the last
2
characters of the front label are SWAPPED!!?

Kind of makes me wonder about their quality certification? Don't they
check
this before it leaves the factory???

Fortunately there's a second label on the bottom part of the FBM (you have
to pull the CP to see it) which did show the correct number!

Another precious hour wasted as I did not know about the label at the
bottom
of the FBM and fully trusted the front label!

<RANT MODE OFF>

They do check-point and boot pretty fast though!
