Greetings; all wise and all knowing list.
I've been working with a Modbus link to a chiller and have found the
analyzer found at http://www.win-tech.com to be very helpful. They
have a Modscan (read), and a ModSim (write), product. The download is
free, but times out after about 4 minutes. The licensing costs are
minimal.
The scanner runs on a notebook, it does needs a physical comm port to
work, as some of the newer PCs may not have that.
