Re: [foxboro] FBM231 for Non-Redundant Modbus

Dimitris,

No, you can not do this, but if you only have one 231, you can install it as
if you were using a pair. You would just have an alarm on all the time in
the SMDH for the missing 231.

Subject: [foxboro] FBM231 for Non-Redundant Modbus

Hello all,

Does anyone know whether i can use a single FBM231 at the place of an FBM230

for non-redundant modbus communication?

According to the manual when you are using a pair of FBM231 you insert one
ECB202 for both. When using an FBM230 you insert one ECB200 for each FBM.
Could FBM231 work with ECB200? has anyone tried this before?

regards,
Dimitris
